Hi everyone! I am so excited to have Joseph Moldover on my blog today. His debut novel, Every Moment After, releases April 9th from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He’s here to talk about his experience of debuting a novel while being introverted. I think many of us in the book community who are introverted can totally relate to the struggles Joseph shares. I loved his thoughts and post, so I hope you enjoy, follow him on your social media, and check out his in April![Read more…]
Hello everyone! I want to talk a little bit about one of my favorite contemporary reads of 2018! Why, Sarah, are you talking about it now??? It’s already February of 2019. Glad you asked! Crazy enough, I never wrote up a post about it on my blog, so today I am remedying this!
Hello everyone! I am thrilled to be able to share with you an excerpt from Sadie by Courtney Summers. I loved this book! It was unique, engaging, heartbreaking and something everyone needs to read!
“Summers’ novel is filled with her trademark biting commentary on sexual assault and the mistreatment of girls and women at the hands of predatory men…her hunt for Mattie’s killer is captivating, and Summers excels at slowly unspooling both Sadie’s and West’s investigations at a measured, tantalizing pace.”

I am really excited to be able to share with all of you my Book Covers Meet Project Runway post for The Fashion Committee Blog Tour! I’ve always been a huge fan of the reality TV show, Project Runway. It’s fun watching all the challenges and being amazed at the fantastic (or not so fantastic) outfits created on such a short amount of time and budget.
When I read the summary for The Fashion Committee by Susan Juby, I was immediately hooked and knew it’d be a book I’d read! A fashion competition IN a book?? Yes, please!!! So, I am thrilled to sharing this post about a super cute book and a few book covers I matched to project runway outfits.

Snacks and food are some of my favorite things so I am THRILLED when books include them. For some reason I can only think of very few books that have any emphasis on food (The Girl of Fire and Thorns, Heartless and The Wrath and the Dawn). I am pleased to share with you a fun snack box Katie Nelson sent me and some other fun facts about the book!
The Duke of Bannerman Prep is a contemporary retelling of The Great Gatsby! So, Gatsby fans, your book has arrived! And even for those of you who haven’t read Gatsby, you’ll enjoy it as well!
Welcome to my tour stop for LITERALLY by Lucy Keating! This was the first book by Lucy that I read and I loved it! It was a lot of fun and anyone who enjoys the process of creative writing or book reviewing would get a kick out of it.
